Even when it comes to grilling, you can eat healthy and tasty food. You can grill vegetables, which is a common thing, and people love it. It can be a side dish, but you can prepare it as the main one. Either way, you will fill your stomach. When it comes to grilling, there are a few tips on how to do it as best as possible. We won’t be sharing hacks on how to grill a perfect stake, but rather perfect vegetables. If you never grilled before, or even if you have, it won’t hurt to check this out. The great thing about it is it doesn’t require a lot of time. It gets grilled pretty fast, so you don’t have to wait a long time to try this delicious meal.

Step One – Use the Oil

The wanted result is both juicy and crispy vegetables. It is not hard to achieve that, if you are using the right methods. So, this is first.  You should put just a little bit of oil, because vegetables becomes dry when on a grill. Don’t put a lot of oil since it will kill its flavour. Besides, less oil is better and healthier. We recommend you to avoid vegetable oil and use olive oil instead. You can add seasoning, too. Because of the oil, it will stick on the vegetables.

Step Two – Keep an Eye on the Grill

As it was mention above, vegetables don’t take long to cook. They get done fast, so you need to take care they don’t burn. There are vegetables that take several minutes to cook, but there are ones that only need a couple of minutes. Get familiar with the fact, so you can be prepared. For example, potatoes need a little bit more time, as expected. On the other hand, softer veggies don’t take as long. Another thing you should watch out is the temperature. If they are grilling too long at a higher temperature, you won’t like the result. The inside will stay raw, while the outside will burn. To avoid that, move the vegetables to parts of the grill that is colder. You should do that when the cooking is almost over.

Step Three – Keep in Mind the Size

Before you start grilling, you need to prepare the vegetables. That means you need to cut them. If you want to cook it faster, cut the veggies into smaller pieces. It will also make it cook evenly. When a veggie is too big, it can stay raw on the inside, even when it looks done on the outside. When it comes to eggplants and onions, for example, cut them roundly. They will be evenly cooked, juicy and crispy. That is pretty much it. As you can see, it is not hard at all. All you have to do is watch the grill and the vegetables, turn them over and seasoned them. When we put it that way, it sounds too simple. When it’s done, you got an easy, fast and a healthy dish.
