Strawberry Pie

I keep hoping I'll outgrow desserts, but I don't think it's going to happen. Fortunately, a little dab will do me. The boys eat the rest. That works out.

Sometimes we just buy ice cream or store cookies, but homemade desserts are sure popular here at my house. I do more heavy baking during the cold months and try to go for quick cook desserts in the summer. The Strawberry Pie to the right is one of our favorites. It's a lot like the pie at Shoney's and very quick and easy to make.

It's also fun to do the dessert right on the grill. S'Mores are always fun and also Pie Iron treats. We also like grilled fruits like pineapple.
